Waiting for Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players
March 29 was the much anticipated Quiggle Concert Day. Hannah was feeling much better so she was able to go to both events, hooray! First up was Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players. We had gone to a book festival last summer to see them play and their concert got rained out. Thankfully they played a little a Capella set under a canopy which saved us from a disappointed meltdown from Hannah. We told her we would go to the next concert he had in the Twin Cities and she has had this date marked on her calendar for 3 months. We had intended to go to Sunday School and then to the concert but I had the concert time wrong in my head and didn't realize it until Sunday morning so we ended up skipping Sunday school. (Oops! Bad mama!)
The concert was so fun, we were up singing and dancing for most of the time, even Noah was participating. They sang most of our favorites including Pop Fly, Yellow Bus and Stay At Home Dad. Oh, and Meltdown. And Willy Was a Whale. And Imaginary Rhino. And, well you get the idea. Once the concert ended we tried to go to Noodles for lunch but couldn't find the one that was supposedly nearby so we ended up going to McD's and eating on the way home. Noah passed out from all the excitement but was able to recap a song or two for Daddy later in the day. All in all a success! Oh and even though I had my camera at the concert the only pics I took happened before it all started. Oops.
But these 2 pictures are adorable even if they are the only one!
