Hannah had her 5 year old check up the other day. While we were prepared for the inevitable shots we were not ready for the urine sample. Talk about traumatic. Had I realized that was part of the deal, I would have collected one at home instead of monopolizing the bathroom at the Dr. office for 20 minutes 2 different times. I was very proud of our big girl when she finally did it. The big payoff? Seven lollipops in her Kindergarten physical treatbag from the pediatrician! We thought there were 3 until we got home and discovered we'd hit the jackpot! Apparently they would like us to get to the dentist too. I've been informed that there should be no more doctor appointments until she is 8. We'll see...
Anyway, she was in the 99+ percentile for height and weight, had and excellent hemoglobin and cholesterol. Hooray for a healthy girl!
